Boston March Against Cages

Activism

Sunday, August 4th, from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Boston Public Library

700 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02116

From the facebook page

The American Correctional Association (ACA) annual conference is in Boston August 1-6.

The ACA is the largest accreditor of prisons, ICE facilities, jails, and concentration camp administrators - their annual conference is the belly of the beast where thousands of guards, wardens, ICE/Border Patrol, jailers, weapons companies, prison profiteers and more gather to make connections and build their bonds. deeperthanwater.org/noACA

As abolitionists, we recognize such accrediting bodies lend legitimacy to unconscionable abuses such as institutionalized sexual violence, toxic water, extreme heat and cold, and much more. Wherever the ACA goes, abolitionists will gather to confront and hold them accountable for their role in holding up the atrocities of caging our fellow human beings.

We say no cages for anyone and no credentials for camps! Join us for
