Peter Rees earned his JD from Boston College Law School (cum laude, 2014) and is admitted to the bar in Massachusetts. He specializes in employment-based green card applications for researchers in academia and the private sector, and in non-immigrant petitions for individuals working in the IT and manufacturing industries. Pete also works with athletes, musicians, artists, entrepreneurs, and investors who are coming to the U.S. to work, and prepares family-based petitions for US citizens seeking to sponsor immediate relatives.
Pete represents pro bono clients applying for asylum, protection under the Convention against Torture, Special immigrant Juvenile Status, and other forms of removal defense. He has represented individuals from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Cameroon.
During his law studies, Pete gained work experience with immigration law firms here in Massachusetts, and in London (UK) and Frankfurt (Germany). Prior to law school, he worked for a non-profit organization in Berlin, Germany, where he organized conferences and seminars focused on international politics, economics, and cultural exchange. He has also lived in Austria, Switzerland, and Australia.
